{boy+dog}
Poor Jack. Yesterday none of his buddies could come over to play so he settled on playing with Moosie instead. As you can see-they had fun in the snow. Moosie is paying for it today, however. He is not a young pup anymore, but he was jumping and playing like the good ol' days. Jack loves anything outdoors, but even he didn't last very long. It sure was cold-and can you believe the snow? Wow-I will post more pics of that later. We had a fun snow day.
*If you click on the image-you can see it larger. I know these are a bit hard to see otherwise. :)

In the Backyard
So...tonight is nothing special-Just playin in the backyard. Micah loves being outside, as do the boys, and I am the official "Hot Chocolate Maker." That has seemed to work out well for us. :)
Jack thinks it is so cool to SEE a pic posted as soon as it happens...so this is just Dad and the Boys.

{First Snow!}
Oh-The Snow!!
The boys woke up this morning and were so excited to see snow on the ground!! Jack is already talking of putting up Christmas decorations and Charlie has been talking about his "list" for about six months or so!haha
I bundled them up (not without tears of course-Charlie hates bulky Anything!!)and outside they went. Moosie was part of the fun as well. Even though my baby dog is getting older(10 yrs.)he still acts like a pup in the snow. It was fun to watch the boys roll around in the fresh powder. They still have a fort in the back that Jack has been building since Charlie's age-just with twigs and anything else he can find to put in there-even a stump for seating!! He now has recruited Charlie for more man-power!:)
Micah is out hunting-but no such luck this morning. Jack went to Deer Camp yesterday and had a good time bonding with the Big Boys! Charlie can't wait until he is old enough to partake-Being a woman I am not sure what the appeal is but I guess it would be a bit like gabbing with the girls and shopping at the mall. Now, that sounds like fun!:) I have learned that being the momma to two boys I have to get used to sports and hunting and have found that when their little faces light up it doesn't matter what the activity is-Just as long as we are spending time together and having fun. (and of course, I have my own mom to do girl things with!):) The best of both worlds!
Enjoy the first snow. Play in the yard and don't forget the Hot Chocolate!!

{Cha Bay}

Cha Bay(As Micah calls him) Turned 4 this past week. His preschool Halloween party was held on his birthday so he dressed up as Batman(reluctantly). When he came home from school we baked his cake together and had some momma and son time. As you can see-we had a blast! I was busy finding batteries for my flash when I finally noticed Charlie had cracked 7 eggs into the batter!! He looked at me and asked if he was in trouble-Poor babe-of course not-We fixed it and the cake was delish!! My baby is growing up-Where does the time go?

{End of the season}

Well-
Jack had a great first season of tackle football. I am happy to announce that there were no broken bones and no trips to the E.R.!!! We are thrilled for that! Jack is a team player and he was always supportive of his teammates. He was so enthusiastic and was seen high five-ing his buddies after every play! I Loved watching him out there and I am totally that mom on the sidelines cheering for my baby! I loved sports as a kid and seeing my guy out on the field is really exciting!! Way to go-Jack-We love you!
{This pic is at Jack's last game against Rockford-we beat them last week but this week it was their turn. Jack had 4 tackles and they announce their name after each play-so fun}

{Updates}
Ok-I know I am posting some of these backwards but I still wanted to share some of Jack and Charlie's first day of school pictures and Jack with his yellow jacket uniform on.
Charlie's first day of preschool went so well. He had a boy swipe a toy from him and Charlie gave in and let him have it-then put his head on me and started crying when his teacher asked if he would like his toy back as he had it first. Charlie nodded and looked up to me and said,"I'm Ok now." :) He was so sweet!! He kissed me goodbye and and then hugged me one last time as i left I snapped a picture of him playing with his new found friends. Bittersweet....
Jack's first day went well too! He was a little nervous about having his classroom in a new wing of the building and thought he might forget and go into the wrong classroom. He also did not like that his locker was right next to the broom closet. He asked me what they really kept in there...ha ha He is doing so well in all areas and we are so proud of him!! He is still taking guitar lessons and it is so fun to hear him play actual songs. What fun ages the boys are. They still fight like crazy but they really do love each other. Boys will be boys...

The latest and greatest at the Braman House

Hello All!
It sure has been a busy summer!! With Micah buying his own business(West Michigan Water Front Solutions) to me starting my own business(Kelly B.~Photographer)
We are either crazy or this will be the greatest venture of our lives. We are really relying on prayer and God to help us find our way!! Please continue to keep our family in your prayers !!
On to other news-
Jack Patrick turned 8(yes,8)on July 14th. He now thinks he knows everything and is already planning who he will live with when he goes off to college!! He is extremely interested in music and is taking guitar lessons. He is rounding up friends to start his rock band(he can be found listening to the Jonas Brothers in his room and jumping off his bed as if on stage!!) He also loves sports and starts TACKLE football on Monday!! I don't like the idea of this at such an early age, but if he keeps his grades up then it is his choice.
What is new with Charlie B.~
Charlie will start preschool in a few weeks-My little Boo Boo Baby Bear will be off for a couple of hours 2 days a week. I will use the time for photography, but am sad that my little guy is growing up! I know that is part of God's plan, but it makes my heart ache. Micah and I were talking about the boys the other night and how it really does seem like yesterday that they were babies(not to mention we don't FEEL 31yrs. old) Don't get me wrong-we are excited about what the future holds for our family and the boys-but it is just a reminder to cherish as much time together as possible as time is fleeting!!! There is no guarantee for tomorrow so make today count!!
Ok- enough rambling. I hope everyone reading this is happy and healthy. God Bless!

My Sweet Boys!
This is my first family post! I thought it would be fun to document all of the little things that happen day to day in our family. It also gives friends and family a way to feel apart of our lives even if they don't see us as often as we'd like. I hope you enjoy the images of my boys as much as I do!
